The Polish striker is a target for the Catalans for next season

Robert Lewandowski, the striker Barcelona want to sign, has told Polish media Eleven Sports that “it’s difficult to say I will play for Bayern Munich next season.”

The forward, who was present at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, has confirmed what was effectively an open secret - he’s taking for granted that his time in Germany is up.

On his future, and asked if Barcelona were in contact with him, Lewandowski said: “It depends on various factors but I think my situation is clear and there’s no sense in talking about this.”

The Polish forward also spoke to Sky Sports Germany and said: “The moment will come to give information. Soon, it will be possible to say more.”

What is true is that Lewandowski, after eight seasons at Bayern, now 33 years old, wants to start a new adventure elsewhere.
