Sources close to Neymar claim there's no "war" going on between the player and the club despite question marks surrounding his future

Whilst Neymar's future plans appear uncertain, as FC Barcelona and Real Madrid desperately try to find a package deal to PSG's liking, the forward and his current club are said to be on good terms. French newspaper 'L'Equipe' claim PSG and Neymar have put aside their differences and could be on the road to reconciliation.

The same newspaper claims that sources close to the player told them: "This isn't a war anymore, they're being civil to one another." Perhaps this change in stance has come after both of the interested Spanish sides have so far failed to convince PSG to sell Neymar. The relationship between him and the director of football, Leonardo, has also improved in recent days.

It's an interesting situation for Neymar who asked to leave PSG at the beginning of the summer. Despite missing out on the Copa America due to injury and then being in trouble for arriving late, no offers have been accepted from Barça or Real Madrid. With the transfer window closing in just over a week's time, there's a very real possibility that Neymar will spend another season in Paris.
