L'Equipe sees Antoine Griezmann's future at Atletico Madrid
The French forward is not wanted at Barcelona because his wages are too high for the club
L’Equipe still see Antoine Griezmann as an Atletico Madrid player next season. They put him on the front page today with a story about what could be one of the soap operas of the summer at Barca.
L’Equipe say there is debate between Atletico fans who both love and resent Griezmann, who left them painfully two years ago.
However they do admit the transfer is not easy and “Antoine is not willing to accept just any exit conditions, simply because Barcelona are in a complicated situation.”
After the Griezmann and Saul swap deal broke down, it seems that his future is not set, but Atletico Madrid might look for another formula to bring him in.
