Leo Messi still not ready for double sessions at the Joan Gamper
The Argentine is still building his fitness up after returning to training late
Ronald Koeman organised a double session for Wednesday. After the morning session with various new faces (Lionel Messi and Philippe Coutinho were involved having previously only trained individually, in addition to returning internationals De Jong, Busquets and Ansu Fati), the Dutch coach has a present for them in the afternoon: some time off. None of the five took part in the day's second session.
A lighter session focused on preparing for Saturday's game against Nastic at the Johan Cruyff stadium. It lasted just over an hour. as well as the five mentioned above, Koeman is still waiting on Griezmann, Lenglet, Braithwaite and Semedo to return from international duty. Therefore, it could be a slim squad against Nastic, with Girona to follow in another friendly next week.
