Leo Messi hosts party to boost Barca spirits
The players came around for lunch at his place on Monday
FC Barcelona players are more united than ever. Thanks to Koeman, Leo Messi and the others, they have turned around a bad situation in La Liga and are in the title fight. The Blaugrana skipper on Monday hosted a big lunch at his house for his team-mates, to boost team spirit for the run-in.
The Granada defeat did a lot of damage. They could have gone top with a win but were defeated. At the weekend they scraped past Valencia and next Saturday face Atletico Madrid in a huge game.
If Barcelona can win they will go ahead of Atletico and just need one Real Madrid slip up to decide the title in their favour, if they win out.
Messi had his teammates round to celebrate the win at Mestalla and prepare ahead of the clash against Atletico. He would love to win the league.
