The French defender highlighted the importance of resting players in the run

FC Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet explained that players will 'risk a lot' playing a lot of games in a short time to get the season done after the coronavirus break.

"We are good, we've had many weeks without training normally, but we've worked at home and it's been good to work physically," he said on Movistar.

"It's different, we've had more time to recover and rest, players like Leo (Messi) and Griezmann don't have holidays and this year they have had two months without doing anything, I'm sure it does those type of players good.

"We know that we will risk a lot, playing so many games with a three month break and the heat. It will be hard for the body, we have to prepare well and avoid injuries."

Lenglet says the title race starts over.

"It's a new championship of 11 games. It all starts from zero and we have to get back to winning games soon as possible."
