The French defender grew tired of the constant talk about Neymar's return

Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet has welcomed the closing of the transfer window. The France international is happy that the rumours will now go away following a summer of intense Neymar talks.

Speaking to Canal+ in France, Lenglet admitted he was happy that the market had ended: "There were a lot of rumours and it was an unsettled time for the club, but finally it's ended."

Lenglet feels that the speculation about the Brazilian has hit the sides focus and he's happy that things will now turn back to the football: "Now we can work more easily," he added.

The situation also affected another of Lenglet's teammates, with talk that Ousmane Dembele, currently recovering from an injury, could be used in a swap deal.

Centre-back Lenglet is currently with the France national team preparing for games against Albania and Andorra. Samuel Umtiti and Antoine Griezmann are also with Les Bleus.
