The Barcelona president is confident four victories will seal top spot for Koeman's side

Barcelona president Joan Laporta was at Mestalla on Sunday to see Ronald Koeman's side come from a goal down to pick up three big points in the title race.

After the game, Laporta spoke briefly to the media at Manises, where he appeared optimistic about Barça's title hopes with four games to go in La Liga.

"I said before the game against Valencia that if we win the five games we have left, we're convinced we will win the league," he said. "Well, now it's no longer five, now there are four games left to win the title."

Laporta, in a positive tone, added that "I have confidence in ourselves," when it was pointed out Barça still need Real Madrid to drop points.

Meanwhile, asked about Messi's performance and his situation, Laporta said "it wasn't just Leo, everyone was brilliant today" but didn't comment on contract renewal talks.
