The Barca president spoke in the afternoon after the Dutchman's show

Joan Laporta travelled to Palos de la Frontera to take part in a fan club event in Andalusia. He was asked by media there what he thought of Ronald Koeman’s statement in what was supposed to be his press conference today.

“We found out at the last minute that he was going to give the statement. He is obliged to go to the press conferences and is free to answer the questions or speak as he wishes,” said Laporta. “I respect the coach’s decision but we found out only minutes before, like the captains.”

Laporta also admitted Barça were in a difficult moment and “have to be calm and hope there is a good result against Cadiz.”

“These situations are overcome with good result, this week we have two important games against Cadiz and Levante. We will keep moving forward, we will keep fighting.”
