Laporta: I suspect they want to sell Leo Messi
The former Barca chief spoke about the current state of affairs
Former Barcelona president Joan Laporta used his Twitter account to rally against the club's board, and especially president Josep Maria Bartomeu. He was angry about recent events, including how Luis Suarez's position - not needed - was made clear and the future of Leo Messi.
"The image of how the club acts is bad and jeopardises it," wrote Laporta. "It makes me suspect they want to sell Messi, which would be an historic error."
He also called the board "incompetents".

Laporta added: "They told Suarez they didn't count on him by phone? That's a cowardly act from the president and a lack of respect for the player."
