Laporta, disappointed and angry with Barcelona's attitude
The president was unimpressed with the performances towards the end of the season
Barcelona president Joan Laporta is not happy.
“I finished the season annoyed and disappointed,” said the chief in an interview with L’Esportiu. “I am conscious that we’ve had injuries and that at some moments we’ve had chances, but I think that losing against Cadiz, Rayo Vallecano and Villarreal at home is something that makes you disappointed with the attitude of the team.”
Laporta accused the team of a lack of character in the important moments of the season.
"I have suffered as much as Xavi or more from this lack of character,” he added. “It has been a great disappointment that this team has not had leadership at any time.”
