The league have filed a complaint with a court in Barcelona

LaLiga has once again denounced racist insults against Vinicius. It is the eighth complaint filed by the highest Spanish football body for this type of behaviour against the Real Madrid player, who in the clásico against FC Barcelona last week was once again the target of this type of offence.

"In view of the events that took place at the FC Barcelona-Real Madrid match, in which intolerable racist behaviour was once again observed against Vinicius Jr, LaLiga has reported the racist insults to the Barcelona Court of Instruction," a statement read on Thursday.

The atmosphere in the LaLiga game was very heated and some 'fans' chanted against the Brazilian player. According to several television cameras, the insults directed at Vinicius were reportedly "die" and also "monkey, son of a bitch".

The statement added: "This is the eighth complaint filed by LaLiga with the corresponding authorities for racist abuse against Vinicius Jr.

"In addition, in order to speed up the identification process, LaLiga has set up a complaints channel so that fans who may have information or any indication of the identity of the perpetrators can contact LaLiga and provide the necessary identification to file the relevant complaints."
