The exciting winger has penned an initial three-year deal with the club
Ansu Fati (16 years old), the top goal scorer in the U19 league last season, has renewed his contract with FC Barcelona for three more years with the option for two more. It's not been an easy extension for Barça to get over the line because the exciting winger had plenty of offers to leave the club.
He will do preseason with Barça B and during the season will alternate between the B team and the U19s, depending on the needs of the two teams and the two coaches' stances. Victor Valdes will be the Juvenil A manager and Garcia Pimienta remains in charge of Barça B.
