The Catalans' youth academy can be proud of itself once more

Beyond the fact that FC Barcelona will be one of the teams with the most representation at the Qatar World Cup with 16 players divided into eight teams –Spain, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Brazil, Germany, Poland and Uruguay–, La Masia will also have a lot of presence at the World Cup that will start on November 20. It's a new show of strength for Barça's youth football.

Luis Enrique's Spain team has summoned the most Barça youth products. Sergio Busquets, Eric Garcia, Jordi Alba, Gavi and Ansu Fati are part of the list for Qatar. Dani Olmo, currently in the ranks of Leipzig, has also been summoned by the Asturian coach too. Leo Messi (Argentina), Xavi Simons (Netherlands), Paik Seung-Ho (South Korea), Take Kubo (Japan) and André Onana (Cameroon) will not miss the World Cup either.

In total, up to eleven players from La Masia will have the opportunity to play in the most prestigious competition in the world. In addition, Ronald Araujo and Ez Abde, two footballers who did not grow up in the Catalan youth categories but did play in the reserve team, have also been called up by Uruguay and Morocco, respectively.
