The Competition Committee will decide if the club should be punished

La Liga will report Atletico Madrid to the Competition Committee for their chants of "Griezmann die," according to Cadena COPE.

Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann was given a rough ride on his return to his former club. His every touch was whistled by Atletico supporters and his plaque outside the Wanda Metropolitano was defaced.

A banner was also unveiled during the game which said: "You wanted to have a name and you forgot to be a man."

The referee, Mateu Lahoz, also included in his report after the game that various objects were thrown at the Barça players as they celebrated Lionel Messi's late winner -- including an umbrella.

La Liga, therefore, will file a comprehensive report to the Competition Committee, who will have to decide if Atleltico should be punished for events at the Wanda on Sunday.
