The president stated that the salary limit is "very clear" and described the lack of understanding between La Liga and the RFEF as a "cultural issue".

The president of La Liga, Javier Tebas, recently gave an interview to the magazine 'Influencers' in which he discussed several current issues, including the salary cap, the relationship between the LFP and the RFEF and club season ticket prices.

Tebas wanted to settle the never-ending controversy over the salary cap for clubs.

"It's very clear. The only one that says it isn't is FC Barcelona, but they know what economic control is like and they know that under Bartomeu it has been enforced in the same way. What happens is that, because of the context they have, it is better to blame Tebas, when I am not the one in charge of economic control. For that, there is a cabinet of fifteen people led by the corporate director general," he said.

The head of La Liga also spoke about relations with the RFEF and what is needed to change them.

"We need to change the president of the Federation. It's a cultural issue, we understand the organisation of football in very different ways. And it's not a question of us getting closer, it's a question of changing the person. There are small things on which we do understand each other on a day-to-day basis, but not on philosophy," he argued.

Another issue that has generated a lot of controversies is that season ticket prices.

"If you become a season ticket holder, for the whole season, the prices are not expensive. Clubs work hard for the season ticket holder. But if you just want to go to a single match, it can be expensive," he explained.
