The first team squad will have PCR tests on the 30th before training begins on the 31st
All of the first team at FC Barcelona - coaching staff, players and medical staff - are expected back at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper on the 30th August to undergo PCR tests. If everything goes to plan, the first training session is to take place on the 31st of August.
You have to remember that the group of nine players, who have been training since the 12th August, will also need to take the tests against on the 30th.
What's unknown is which players will be given extra time off and won't join up immediately. The futures of Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets are all likely to be much clearer before that date too. Will Messi be there on the 30th of August?
