The forward is back in training but is going to need more time to regain match fitness

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman warned people against getting carried away after Ansu Fati returned to training recently.

Ansu, 18, has not featured since injuring his knee last November, but has finally began working alongside his teammates again with the ball.

However, given how long he has been out, Koeman says it's going to take more time for the Spain international to be back in shape to play competitive games.

"Don't get carried away with these images of him training," the Dutch coach said. "He's still a long way away from competing at the top level. We're talking about eight months out of action. You don't return after two to thrree weeks of training.

"I don't want to name a date, but I saw Sevilla (Sept. 11) in the press. Forget that game. He will not be there. He needs more training, more strength, more fitness... because we want him for a long time. Won't take any risks with Ansu in that sense."
