Koeman name drops Neymar & Mbappe in response to PSG's Messi interest

The Barça coach was asked about comments made by PSG sporting director Leonardo

Ronald Koeman didn't like the fact that Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo spoke openly about the French club's interest in Lionel Messi this week.

The Barcelona coach was asked about the comments in a press conference on Wednesday and his answer suggested he was annoyed.

Leonardo said he would like to have Messi in Paris and Koeman was asked if Mbappe-Neymar-Messi would be the best attack in the world.

"If I am asked about interest in Neymar and Mbappe, I would say yes, so it's the same," Koeman said. "I don't know what can happen in the future, I can't give an opinion on them, just try and work on having the best squad possible."

Neymar and Mbappe have both been linked with Barça in the past and are out of contract with PSG in 2022, so have less than 18 months to run on their deals.
