Koeman: I see myself being here as Barcelona coach next season
The Dutchman believes he's done enough to stay in the job beyond the summer
Ronald Koeman has one year to run on his contract and he is convinced that he will still be in charge of Barcelona next season.
Asked if he has been backed by the club to remain as boss after the summer, he said: "The president has always, from the first day, shown his support and confidence in me.
"I see myself as the coach here next season and I still have one year to go on my contract. If that's not the case, then we have to talk."
Koeman has never dodged questions and has done a good job, too, taking Barça to within reach of the double, a position that was unthinkable after the 2-8. They have won the Copa del Rey and will win the league if they win their final seven games.
But the Dutch coach has been able to make changes to the team and, while bringing through youngsters, has still kept Barça competitive.
