Former Barcelona forward Kevin-Prince Boateng is close to a return to Eintracht Frankfurt, a year after leaving the German side.
He was on loan at Barca last season from Sassuolo, and the Catalans did not take up their eight million euro option to buy after a disappointing spell at Camp Nou. He didn't score a single goal.
Boateng, a footballing globe trotter, played at Sassuolo and Frankfurt after UD Las Palmas (2016 - 2017), Milan, in two spells (2010 - 2013 and 2016); Schalke (2013 - 2015); Portsmouth (2009 - 2010); Borussia Dortmund (2008 - 2009); Tottenham (2007 - 2008) and Hertha Berlín (2005 - 2007).
