Kessie doesn't want to leave Barça despite offers from England & Italy

The midfielder is one of the players the Catalan club want to move on this summer

Barcelona are obliged to speed up the exit operation in order to be able to balance their viability plan with the aim of signing all the players they want to bring in. And it is not going to be an easy task because there are players on the market who have no intention of leaving. One of them is Franck Kessié, who has already made clear his priority to continue at Camp Nou in spite of the fact that the Barça already have offers to move him on even before June 30.

Kessié is one of the four players that Barça's sporting department will try to sell in order to bring in money and reduce the wage bill. The decision has been taken, but everything must go through an agreement with the player himself.

And Kessié made an effort to come to the Blaugrana last summer and wants to succeed, so his first decision would be to continue. In January, the midfielder already refused to enter into a swap deal with Inter for Brozovic and, in the end, he has finished the season at the Catalan club.

Things are different now because Barça need to make departures. And the objective is to make money with players who have had less prominence.

With Kessie, the priority is to make a pure and simple transfer and there are at least two Premier League teams interested in signing him. In Italy, Juventus, Inter and Milan have asked about him, but there is no money and everything would go through an exchange of players.

Kessié's position is clear, but Barça have the weapons to redirect the situation. The player's camp already knows of the club's intentions and now it will be the coach, Xavi Hernandez, who will speak directly to the player to tell him that the best thing for all parties is for him to leave this summer, as he will have few minutes in the next sporting project.

Xavi's idea is to bring in two midfielders with a different profile to Kessié. One of them would be Gundogan, who would arrive at zero cost, and the other points to Rúben Neves as a club signing. Barça consider the Portuguese to be a good market opportunity, as Wolverhampton accept player exchanges and his fee will be low.
