Kays Ruiz rejoins Barca from PSG
The midfielder is back with the Catalan giants
Kays Ruiz is now a Barcelona player again. The club made the deal official on Monday, with the 18 year old signing on until 2024, with the option to extend by two more seasons. It’s a market opportunity that Barca couldn’t turn down after he left PSG.
He played at Barca between 2009 to 2015, until he left for Paris. Now Kays is back in Barcelona to reinforce Sergi Barjuan’s B team squad. He will have a 50 million euro release clause that rises to 100m euros if he becomes a first team player.
Kays knows what it is to earn minutes among the elite, with PSG giving him a debut last season. He’s an attacking midfielder who can also feature on the left wing, and a fine dribbler.
