Massimiliano Allegri asks for a financial push to close the signing of the Blaugrana striker

The Memphis story continues to drag on and still has no resolution. The striker is out of favour and needs to resolve his exit soon with just a week to go before the transfer window closes.

Juventus are the team that have shown the most interest in the Dutchman, but his financial demands are keeping him away from Serie A.

Yesterday a meeting took place with members of the Turin club's sporting management - sporting director Federico Cherubini, vice-president Pavel Nedved, general director Maurizio Arrivabene and coach Massimiliano Allegri - to discuss the strikers the club should consider.

Two names were on the table: Memphis Depay and Arkadiusz Milik. The 'bianconero' coach is in favour of the Dutchman, as he believes that Vlahovic needs a striker with more mobility, although there are disagreements within the club.

Allegri has asked the club to make an economic effort to sign Memphis. Therefore, the 'bianconeri' will make their final offer for the Dutchman today to his lawyer.

Despite Aubameyang's impending departure from FC Barcelona, the Blaugrana are adamant that Memphis must leave the club in this transfer window.

The Dutchman arrived as a free agent last season from Olympique Lyon and would leave the Nou Camp with a year left on his contract.
