Juventus line up Ansu Fati as possible replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo is out of contract in 2022 and Ansu could replace him in Turin

There's no rest in the offices at Juventus and they're already making plans for the upcoming seasons. One name on their list is the Barcelona forward Ansu Fati.

Juve are thinking of Ansu as a candidate to fill Cristiano Ronaldo's place in the coming years. The Barça academy graduate is out of contract in 2022, the same year Ronaldo's deal is up in Turin.

The two players are both represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes and reports in Italy suggest the Portuguese representative could help do the operation.

Ansu, 18, is currently injured and recovering from an operation. He's missed a large chunk of the season and isn't due back soon.

A new contract with Barça has not yet been agreed although it is clearly one of the main objectives for the incoming president, who will be elected on March 7.
