Juventus hand Memphis an ultimatum as he negotiates Barça exit

Juventus are still keen on Memphis Depay. The Italian side want to strengthen in attack and the Dutchman is available for free from Barcelona. There is even an agreement for him to move to Turin, per Tuttosport.

However, time is beginning to run out. Per the same cited media, Juve have handed Memphis an ultimatum to get his contract situation sorted with Barça.

The Old Lady want him in the squad as soon as possible and have given him a few days to finalise everything and seal his move to Italy -- or risk them moving on.

In theory, all that's needed is for Barça and the Dutchman's lawyers to finalse his exit, which should happen soon. But time is of the essence and Juve can't wait forever.

If negotiating with Barcelona drag on excessively, the Serie A side are clear that they will move on to other targets.

Tuttosport say the Plan B is Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic, who has also been linked with Manchester United in the current window.
