The Italian side want the Barca striker and to keep good relations with the Catalans
Juventus are in advanced negotiations with Luis Suarez. In Italy they say he has an agreement to sign for the next three years for 10m euros a season. However the signing depends on how he can unhook himself from Barcelona in the next few days.
Juventus believe that Suarez can go for free but journalist Gianluca Di Marzio says that they would accept paying a low-cost fee for the forward, like Sevilla did for Ivan Rakitic (1.5m plus 9m in variables).
Per the reporter, that is because Juventus want to keep good relations with Barcelona, whom they have made various deals with, including the Arthur-Pjanic trade recently.
Edin Dzeko was Pirlo’s Plan A but the difficulty they have had signing the Bosnian means that Suarez has become the next option.
