Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says the striker won't leave in January

Juventus and Roma are among the clubs interested in Barcelona target Memphis Depay, the Lyon striker who's out of contract next summer.

Despite that, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has said he will not let the Dutch international flee the French club in January.

Depay was close to joining Barça in the summer before finally staying at Lyon. He is already the focus of rumours ahead of the winter transfer window.

Barça didn't get the deal done because of the club's financial problems (he would have cost 25 million euros plus they still had to lighten their wage bill) even though coach Ronald Koeman wanted him.

With Ansu Fati injured for four months, Barça will look for a way to do the deal in January but they face Italian competition this time round.

It was revealed on Tuesday that Milan want to sign Depay, while Juventus and Roma have now also been linked with the former PSV and Manchester United man.
