The striker is set to join Belgian side Club Brugge this summer

Ferran Jutgla's spell at Barcelona is coming to an end. His transfer to Club Brugge is imminent and if there was any hope he could yet stay at Camp Nou, the player himself put any doubts to bed in a social media post on Thursday.

Jutgla, who told SPORT on Wednesday that Barça "don't want me," has said goodbye to the club's supporters ahead of his move to Belgium this summer.

"I want to infinitely thank the Barcelona family for the chance they have given me to grow as a footballer," said Jutgla, who joined from Espanyol last summer.

He added: "You have allowed me to fulfill a dream that has been a huge step forward in my career."

Jutgla explained that despite having the chance to remain at the club for another season, he took the decision to move to another project, but added that he hopes to return one day.

"Football has many twists and turns and of course the door will always be open to return to wear such an important shirt as Barça's in two or three years," the striker concluded.

Jutgla impressed for Barça B this season, scoring 19 goals for Sergi Barjuan's side, but also did well when given a chance in the first team, scoring once in LaLiga and another in the Copa del Rey.
