Unlike other team-mates Junior Firpo has stayed quiet on social media. The Spanish-Dominican left-back has kept his silence despite constant speculation about his future. The player is sure that now is not the time to think about a possible exit, or speak to other clubs.

Barca's former Real Betis defender has not had many minutes yet but believes he will get some in the end to the season and have the chance to convince his former coach at Betis, Quique Setien.

Junior is focused on getting fit and performing when he gets the chance. When the season is over, he will look at the situation, but not now. If he decides the best thing to do is leave then he will go willingly, but nothing is done yet, as is being claimed elsewhere. He has a Barca contract until 2024 and to continue at Barcelona is far from off the table.

The player wants to prioritise his sporting and personal interests. Barca believe he and Inter could reach a deal that would help them get Lautaro Martinez, but Junior is not thinking about it. The 23 year old will have plenty of suitors if he does decide to go. Whatever the pressure on him, he will have the final say.
