The former Barcelona vice-president spoke about the deal

Barcelona refused to confirm the numbers in the deal to bring Philippe Coutinho to the club. However it is widely known they paid 160m euros for him - 120m up front and 40m in variables.

Jordi Mestre spoke about the deal on Monday at Coutinho's presentation and said that Barcelona got him for cheaper than what Liverpool were asking for last summer - which Albert Soler claimed was 200m euros.

He did admit the deal was possible thanks to a "substantial cut" to the price Liverpool were asking for previously. Next is Yerry Mina, but he would not talk about that, saying "our policy is not to give out information about the ins and outs".
