"I don't know what the club want," the left-back said on Sunday
Jordi Alba said after Barcelona's win over Eibar that there are no developments regarding a contract renewal with the club, with his current terms up in 2020.
"Everything is still the same with my renewal," he said. "I have one year left on my deal. I don't know what the club think or what they want to do.
"At the end of the day, it's their decision. But I am relaxed. They have to decide if they want me to renew or not. My desire is to stay here for many years."
Alba also starred in a curious moment when a journalist pointed out to him that people in Madrid are comparing Real Madrid's Vinicius with Barça star Lionel Messi.
