Barça's president affirms that the new signings will be in contention to play right from the start of the season

Barça president Joan Laporta made it clear that all the new signings will be registered by LaLiga and that they will all be available for selection right from the start, having generated a sufficient salary cap with the economic levers pulled. "We have done the job well and we believe we meet all the requirements. The documentation is all submitted and we are waiting for the response from LaLiga. There may be some disparity, but we understand that there will be no problems because we have complied with everything and the players will be able to register. If not, we are prepared to apply the fourth lever and we will do so."

Laporta indicated that Barça have made millions of euros in the last few months and they are economically healthy. "In the last two months, we have made operations that have brought in 860 million euros. We ended the year with a profit, we are healthy and the balance sheet is positive. Shareholders' equity is also positive. Decisions have been taken responsibly and we meet the requirements, so this work carried out will allow us to have a great squad."

Regarding the fourth lever, Laporta indicated that "it is ready and is the sale of another 24 per cent of Barça Studios. The lever will be pulled if needed. Laporta commented that "Lewandowski and his agent have been asking us if we could sign him up. We have always said yes and that in any case, he would be prioritized while registering".
