Gerard Romero says the club are working with a shortlist of five names

The transfer window has not closed for Barcelona, not in terms of incoming or outgoings. After making five signings, the club are still targeting more. Marcos Alonso and Bernardo Silva are wanted, while the Blaugrana also want a right-back.

According to 'Jijantes', Barça's sporting committee has drawn up a five-man shortlist after missing out on Chelsea's Cesar Azpilicueta, who signed a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

One of the names, as revealed by SPORT previously, is Borussia Dortmund's Thomas Meunier. The others are Frimpong (Leverkusen), Foyth (Villarreal), Wan Bissaka and Dalot (both Manchester United).

After missing out on Azpilicueta, Xavi Hernandez still wants to strengthen at right-back. He doesn't have faith in Sergino Dest, the only specialist right-back in the squad, and didn't use him in the first game of the season. Ronald Araujo and Sergi Roberto are the current options.

For that reason, Barça continue to comb the market for a suitable option and Jijantes have revealed five possible names -- although there could be other options.
