Lionel Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo's wedding has, according to O Jogo, delayed Jeremy Mathieu's proposed transfer from Barcelona to Sporting Lisbon this summer.
Barça star Messi and Roccuzzo will wed on Friday in Rosario, Argentina, with all of Messi's club team-mates invited to the bash.
Some cannot attend due to previous international commitments -- such as Andre Gomes, Denis Suarez and Marc-Andre ter Stegen -- while others cannot make it due to other reasons, such as Andres Iniesta recently having his third child with his partner.
According to the reports in Portugal, Mathieu is one of the 260 people invited to the wedding and his trip to Rosario has delayed the finalising of a deal with Sporting.
The 33-year-old defender is set to leave Barça this summer after three years at the club, but the confirmation will have to wait for now.
