Mathieu says he'll celebrate if he scores against Barcelona on Wednesday

He told Marca that he has team-mates not friends at Barcelona

Sporting Lisbon defender Jeremy Mathieu has hit out at Josep Maria Bartomeu and Robert Fernandez ahead of the club's clash with his former side Barcelona on Wednesday in Lisbon.

Mathieu says if he scores against Barcelona he'll celebrate just to rub it in the president and sporting director's faces.

Mathieu told Marca: "I have a lot of respect for my ex-team-mates and the fans. If I celebrate it will be for Bartomeu and Robert Fernandez, because I think the manner they had was very difficult for me."

Of his time under Luis Enrique he said: "I played a lot, I won titles and the only thing that hurts is that the fans say that I didn't play much. In my first season I played in 58 per cent of games, scored important goals. In the second a bit less, 53-54 per cent, which is good too, and the last year was difficult with injuries and no confidence from the coach, but well, that's how it is and no worries."

Mathieu added: "I watched the game against Juventus again and everyone said I was the problem. It's true that in the goals I'm one on one and I didn't get it, but afterwards they make a pass and they could say, what are Mascherano and Pique doing, but no. That's my opinion."
