The Colombian started his first game in Blaugrana on Thursday in the cup

Jeison Murillo made his Barcelona debut in Thursday's disappointing Copa del Rey loss to Levante. But the Colombian defender was happy with his bow, satisfied with his performance and convinced that the Catalans can turn things around in the second leg at Camp Nou next week.

"The coach [Ernesto Valverde] told me I have to work hard in training, get used to the team's style, get used to the link up, so that when the opportunity comes I am ready," he explained. "I am satisfied with my first game with Barça."

His debut came in a tough game, though. Barça were 2-0 down but Philippe Coutinho's late penalty -- after good work from Denis Suarez -- saved face.

"We know what Coutinho's goal could be worth," Murillo added. "There's a second game to go, at our stadium, and the goal leaves us in a better position. We hope things go well at Camp Nou and that we're able to continue in the Copa del Rey."

Murillo joined Barça this month, officially, from Valencia on a six-month loan deal. There is an option to make the move permanent in the summer for 25 million euros.
