Ivan Rakitic is fully integrated at Sevilla now. After being given a fond farewell by FC Barcelona, the Croatian is now ready to aid Julen Lopetegui's side this season.
It's been revealed today that Rakitic has inherited the number 10 shirt left by Ever Banega. Ivan, who is earning considerably less than what he was on at Barça, will have an important role at Sevilla this season. The Europa League winners will be involved in the Champions League, LaLiga, the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey this term.
Rakitic wore the '11' shirt in his previous stint with Sevilla but will now wear the '10' made famous by Banega at his current club and by Messi at his former one.
