Barcelona suffered a 4-3 defeat by Real Betis on Sunday and Ivan Rakitic was sent off.
The Croatian midfielder will now be unable to play against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on November 24.
Rakitic saw two yellow cards, one for stepping on Joaquin, another for a cynical foul on Giovani Lo Celso with the score at 2-3, and Barcelona at risk of conceding a fourth.
