The Italian club need a right-back for their new project

Inter Milan are beginning to show an openness to negotiating the sale of Lautaro Martinez and have suggested they would be willing to accept players in exchange -- as long as one of them is a right-back.

The Italians are keen on Nelson Semedo, although they're more interested in Emerson, who is currently on loan at La Liga side Real Betis.

According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Inter are committed to their 111 million euro valuation but understand they could also benefit from a cash plus player deal.

Semedo is liked but the problem is his salary and the offer the Portugal right-back has from Manchester City. Emerson's seen as a more viable option to enter in the deal.

For the Brazil international to be involved, Barça would have to pay six million euros to end his loan with Betis early and send him to Inter. His value is around 20 million, so another player would also have to be included.
