After Antonio Conte was confirmed as staying at Inter, the move for Vidal can now progress

Arturo Vidal's future looks set to be in Italy. According to various media outlets over there, one of those being 'Corriere dello Sport', they are almost certain that Vidal will be playing for Inter Milan next season. This is after Antonio Conte was confirmed to be staying and the coach made Vidal his number one priority, alongside that of Kolarov.

The decision to stick with Conte has caused the team to rethink their transfer strategy. Sandro Tonali, who seemed certain to join Inter, will now play for city rivals Milan. Conte, instead, has opted for experience over potential.

Arturo: AT ANY COST

Antonio Conte desire to sign Vidal has been there since day one at Inter. The pair know each other well from their time together at Juventus. Both promised they would meet again in the future.

Vidal has already been told he isn't needed at Barça next season. He's got a year left on his deal and this means his price is going to very cheap. It goes without saying that Inter won't pay the €20m Barça initially asked for.

The Chilean midfielder attended the PCR tests this morning at Barcelona as he awaits movement on his transfer away. One person who might not be looking forward to Vidal's arrival at Inter is Christian Eriksen. The Danish midfielder only joined the club in January but could be sold back to the Premier League next month.
