Inter cannot pay a transfer fee but want Barcelona midfielder Kessie

Franck Kessie is one of the players who will have to leave Barcelona in order to lower the wage bill. It is a painful decision because of the professionalism of the midfielder, but he is a player with a market and the Catalan club will not miss out on the opportunity.

Inter are pushing for him, but they have already made it clear that they cannot invest one euro in signing him, so they would only opt for an exchange or a loan.

Kessie was already in Inter's orbit in the January window when they asked for a loan. At that time, Barça did not let him leave because they could not register a replacement. The option of Brozovic was discussed as a possible exchange, but the negotiations did not come to fruition.

Inter are in a complicated economic situation and need to sell. In fact, they have several players on the market and have already informed Barça that they cannot afford a pure transfer. Their only investment will be to sign a centre-back to replace the big loss of Skriniar.
