Sergi Samper does not have luck on his side. The La Masia midfielder, now healed after his knee injury kept him out of the US tour, has not been able to convince Ernesto Valverde because he has not been able to stay fit.
On Wednesday Barcelona announced he was injured again. "First team player Sergi Samper has been diagnosed with a sprain to the internal lateral ligament of his left ankle, with his recovery from the injury dictating how much of a part he will play in the next few training sessions," said the club in a statement.
