Iniesta back running again as he targets Chelsea comeback
The midfielder injured his hamstring at the weekend
He's hoping to be fit for Chelsea's visit next week
Andres Iniesta will try until the final minute to be fit for the Champions League game against Chelsea. After two days in the gym, the midfielder was able to run on the pitch again at the training ground on Wednesday, doing some more dynamic exercises.
The Barça captain injured his hamstring in the win against Atletico Madrid. He was taken off in the first half to avoid making it worse. Even though, in principle, he will be out for three or four weeks, he is making a huge effort to be ready for the Chelsea game.
Iniesta will follow a specific plan during the next few days and it will be early next week when the club decide if he has a chance of playing against Chelsea. His feelings will be key when making a decision. He knows his own body better than anyone else and will not make a snap decision.
