How Samuel Umtiti's Barcelona recovery is going
The French defender has been taking treatment on his knee problem since December
Samuel Umtiti continues the recovery process. Barcelona say that the Frenchman is still working on the pain in his left knee. He came back to Barcelona at the end of the December after treatment in Qatar.
The cente-back has been taking treatement at the club's training ground since December 30, working on the margin of the group. On Thursday he was back on the grass.
Umtiti said a few days ago that "the injury feels good" and he wants to "get back as soon as possible". However Ernesto Valverde is not so sure.
"It's going a bit slowly, we will see if next week or the week after he can start to do something with us to test him," said Valverde.
