The Polish forward was relieved on Friday night that the deal was finally being agreed

Robert Lewandowski already feels like a new Barça player, though the deal is not official. Bayern and Barcelona advanced greatly in negotiations on Friday and after weeks of problems, the Bavarians have finally accepted that he will go. The price is 45m euros plus 5m in variables.

The Polish attacker stayed firm in his will to come to Camp Nou and did not want to listen to proposals from Chelsea and PSG. On Friday night he finally felt like the move was happening.

Journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk, close to Lewandowski and his camp, said he met with some friends in Munich to celebrate the deal.

It didn’t go on too late because he had to attend the Bayern training session at 10am on Saturday, his last after more than eight years at the club. A special day where he will say good-bye to so many people who have accompanied him over the years. Then he will set off for his new future.
