Barça have beaten Valencia twice this season -- and in dramatic circumstances at the Mestalla -- and Los Che will receive one million euros if the Catalans win the league. The money comes via a clause included in the deal which saw Andre Gomes move to Camp Nou last summer.
Said clause stipulates that Barça must pay Valencia one million euros each time they win the league during the next five seasons. There are various other clauses -- individual and collective -- included, but the cap it 20 million euros. Once that's hit, Barça won't have to pay any more clauses.
In fact, Valencia have already been assured of 500,000 euros due to the fact Barça are guaranteed a place in the Champions League next season.
