The Dutch defender will reject Barça and PSG to join the Italian giants

Juventus are close to completing the signing of Matthijs de Ligt. 'Corriere dello Sport' have revealed some of the details of the deal which will take the Dutch international to the Old Lady, who will beat off competition from Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

The Italian newspaper has reported that Juve have offered the centre-back 12 million euros net per season, which has tipped the balance in their favour. De Ligt's agent, Mino Raiola, has supposedly confirmed that figure and the player is close to giving the green light to the move.

Juve have been working on the signing for a long time. According to the same report, De Ligt and his family were in Turin in January, where they met the Italian champions' directors and checked out the club in the first person.

Since then, Juve have kept their interest alive with the direct intervention of their vice president, former player Pavel Nedved. The operation with Ajax will be worth between 75 and 80 million euros and De Ligt will join Cristiano Ronaldo as part of Juve's ambitious project.
