Barça's Malcom to undergo tests on ankle injury on Thursday
The forward was unable to finis the Copa match against Cultural
Malcom had a big part to play against Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.
The Brazilian scored a header in the first half as Barça won 4-1 to book their place in the last 16 of the cup.
That was the positive. The negative was that he was unable to finish the game as he picked up an ankle injury late on.
Barça said: "Malcom was unable to finish the match due to a sprained right ankle. The Brazilian will be examined more thoroughly on Thursday to determine the full extent of the injury.
"It was a stroke of misfortune that led the player to slip nastily. He left the field in tears and to a standing ovation from the over 76,000 fans in the stadium."
