The Brazilian star has sensationally agreed a five-year contract at FC Barcelona as he looks to force an exit from PSG
Neymar and Barça have reached an agreement on personal terms. The Brazilian is happy with the deal on the table as revealed exclusively by SPORT this Tuesday.
Of course, any transfer is dependent on Barça and PSG agreeing on a fee.
Neymar is willing to accept a considerable pay cut to make the move a reality. He currently earns €36.8m per season - as revealed by 'Football Leaks' - and would take a €12m per season hit, earning around €24m, to complete his return to the Camp Noi. This is very similar to what he was on before he left for Paris.
FIVE YEAR DEAL
To make such a large offer viable it would need to be spread across five seasons. This would see Neymar remain at the club until he was 32.
Another factor is there's an ongoing court case between the Brazilian and Barça over 'owed' commission fees. Although, as mentioned by SPORT this morning, Neymar is ready to abandon the case if it helps a transfer go through.
